Director of Strategy, Impact & Operations (ADoH)
About us
The Association of Directors of Housing (ADoH) is a new and growing membership body, established to represent and connect senior housing and homelessness leaders in local authorities across England. Our vision is to be the leading voice for councils focusing on key housing and homelessness issues, bridging the gap between local expertise and national policy, driving informed impactful solutions to the housing crisis.
We believe everyone has a right to a good, secure, affordable home in a place where they want to live. Harnessing our combined knowledge and experience, we work with communities, industry experts, and government partners to share best practice, learnings and skills – strengthening the delivery of council services.
Our members are experts in helping local people to access good quality, affordable homes, in addition to tackling and preventing homelessness. They lead the delivery of new build homes, bring empty properties back into use, and oversee the refurbishment of existing stock – including homes owned and managed by councils as custodians of social housing.
We’re now looking for a Director of Strategy, Impact & Operations to guide the Association through its early development. This is a unique opportunity to shape our vision, structure and influence. The role is hosted on behalf of ADoH by the London Borough of Southwark, who are one of the boroughs leading the development of the association and is funded by the UK Government.
